California Federal Judge Certifies Questions In Suit Alleging Excessive Fees
(May 31, 2016, 9:02 PM EDT) -- LOS ANGELES — A California federal judge on May 13 certified controlling questions of law for appellate review in a suit alleging that administrative and management fees charged by a retirement plan provider are excessive (Jaclyn Santomenno, et al. v. Transamerica Life Insurance Co., et al., No. 12-02782, C.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 64289).
