United States Asks High Court To Review Invalidity Ruling In Amplification Patents

(May 31, 2016, 11:18 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. government filed an amicus curiae brief on May 11 asking the U.S. Supreme Court to review part of an appellate court ruling that reversed an order vacating Promega Corp.’s $52 million win in a patent and licensing dispute with Life Technologies Corp. (LifeTech) over gene-testing technology (Life Technologies Corp., et al. v. Promega Corp., No. 14-1538, U.S. Sup.).
