Twitter Amends 1st Amendment Challenge To Government’s Nondisclosure Order

Mealey's (May 27, 2016, 1:33 PM EDT) -- OAKLAND, Calif. — Twitter Inc. filed a second amended complaint (SAC) May 24 in California federal court, somewhat recasting its challenge under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution to being forbidden from disclosing its compliance with government-mandated subscriber information collection orders (Twitter Inc. v. Loretta E. Lynch, et al., No. 4:14-cv-04480, N.D. Calif.).

The SAC was filed three weeks after Twitter’s previous complaint was partly dismissed.
