Insurer Asks Texas Appeals Court To Reverse $403,700 Hurricane Ike Judgment

Mealey's (May 24, 2016, 7:45 AM EDT) -- BEAUMONT, Texas — A homeowners insurer asked a Texas appeals court to reverse a lower court’s $403,700 judgment against it in a coverage dispute over Hurricane Ike property damage, arguing that the lower court erred in allowing certain expert testimony and by overruling all of its requested jury charges (National Security Fire and Casualty Co. v. Renee Lampson, et al., No. 09-15-00299-CV, Texas App., 9th Dist.).
