Judge Stays Order Requiring District Of Columbia To Grant All Medicare Applications
Mealey's (May 19, 2016, 10:40 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A federal judge on May 17 stayed pending appeal an order requiring the District of Columbia to approve all Medicaid coverage applications, saying the costs imperiled the government’s ability to comply with Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) guidelines (Oscar Salazar, et al. v. District of Columbia, et al., No. 93-452, D. D.C.).
