(May 17, 2016, 1:33 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A New York state court appeals panel on May 12 unanimously affirmed a trial court’s ruling that a plaintiff’s claims involving Sculptra dermal filler are preempted by federal law (Lisa Pitkow v. Everett M. Lautin, M.D., et al., No. 1129, 800047/11, N.Y. Sup., App. Div., 1st Dept.; 2016 N.Y. App. Div. LEXIS 3640).
