(May 17, 2016, 12:50 PM EDT) -- CINCINNATI — A class settlement reached in a suit over gym membership fees, which objectors claimed provided class counsel’s fees that were disproportionate to the claims paid, was appropriate, a divided Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled May 13 (Amber Gascho, et al. v. Global Fitness Holdings, LLC, Nos. 14-3761 and 14-3798, 6th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 8799).
