Rhode Island Justice: Years Of Litigation Waived Personal Jurisdiction Defense

(May 17, 2016, 12:23 PM EDT) -- PROVIDENCE, R.I. — An automobile parts company waived a personal jurisdiction defense by spending years actively litigating the asbestos case, a Rhode Island justice held May 2 (In re Asbestos Litigation, Kay Bazor, et al. v. Abex Corp., et al., No. PC-10-3965, R.I. Super., Providence Plantation; 2016 R.I. Super. LEXIS 53).
