(May 17, 2016, 10:26 AM EDT) -- NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A federal magistrate judge in Connecticut on May 10 denied in part a motion for reconsideration, thus confirming the court’s earlier ruling that a reinsurer must post prepleading security in a $1.1 million billing dispute (Select Insurance Company v. Excalibur Reinsurance Corporation, f/k/a PMA Capital Insurance Company, No. 15-cv-00715, D. Conn.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 61536).
