Law Firm Appeals Insurance Broker Ruling To 2nd Circuit
(May 16, 2016, 12:48 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A law firm for an asbestosis victim seeking to hold the longtime insurance broker for Johns-Manville Corp. liable for his injuries asked the Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on April 27 to decide whether a federal judge erred in finding that the man’s claims are barred by orders entered in Johns-Manville’s bankruptcy case (The Bogdan Law Firm v. Marsh USA, Inc., et al., No. 16-1153, 2nd Cir.).
