New York Judge Denies Energy Company, Landowner Right To Proceed With Fracking

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 2:49 PM EDT) -- ALBANY, N.Y. — A New York state judge on July 11, 2014, dismissed a complaint filed by the bankruptcy trustee of Norse Energy Corp. USA and a landowner who contend that the state should be compelled to finish environmental reports on the effects of hydraulic fracturing so that landowners can enter contracts with oil and gas exploration companies (Mark Wallach v.
