Ruling From Similar Injury Case Against Monsanto Supports Claim, Couple Says

(May 16, 2016, 9:19 AM EDT) -- HONOLULU — A couple that filed a personal injury lawsuit against Monsanto Co. alleging that the wife contracted cancer as a result of using the company’s herbicide on May 3 filed a notice in Hawaii federal court alerting the judge to a “supplemental authority,” which she contends supports her argument that Monsanto’s motion to dismiss should be denied (Christine Sheppard, et al. v. Monsanto Company, No. 16-43, D. Hawaii).
