Judge: Tainted Groundwater Complaint May Be Amended Due To New Evidence
(May 16, 2016, 7:44 AM EDT) -- FRESNO, Calif. — A federal judge in California on May 4 ruled that even though the deadline had passed, a plaintiff could filed an eighth amended complaint in a chemical exposure and groundwater contamination lawsuit because he became aware of information pertaining to the presence of toxins that is relevant to the case (Viola Coppola, et al. v. Gregory Smith, et al., No. 1:11-cv-01257, E.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 59489).
