California Top Court Denies Publication Request In Expert Insulation-Content Opinion

Mealey's (May 12, 2016, 2:29 PM EDT) -- SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The California Supreme Court on May 11 declined to publish a lower court opinion crediting an expert’s opinion as the basis for reversing summary judgment, according to the docket (Betty O’Leary v. Dillingham Construction N.A. Inc., No. S232878, Calif. Sup.).

After Michael O’Leary died of mesothelioma, his wife, Betty O’Leary, filed suit in the San Francisco County Superior Court against numerous companies whose conduct allegedly exposed him to asbestos.
