2nd Circuit Reinstates Correction Officer’s Pregnancy Bias Suit

(May 12, 2016, 10:18 AM EDT) -- NEW YORK — The Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on April 26 reinstated a corrections officer’s pregnancy discrimination suit, finding that under Young v. United Parcel Service, Inc. (135 S. Ct. 1338 [2015]), the employee presented sufficient evidence to support her claim (Ann Marie Legg, et al. v. Ulster County, et al., No. 14-3636, 2nd Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 7589).
