(May 10, 2016, 1:33 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A final decision by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board that rejected allegations of patent obviousness was supported by substantial evidence, the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals concluded May 9 (Intelligent Bio-Systems Inc. v. Illumina Cambridge Ltd., No. 15-1693, Fed. Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 8481).
