Reinsurer, Reinsured Urge Court To Keep Arbitration Award Under Seal
(May 9, 2016, 12:02 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A reinsurer and its reinsured told a federal court in New York on April 27 that retaining a seal on an arbitration award would not prejudice the public because the award was not used to justify its confirmation (Continental Insurance Company v. Fairmont Premier Insurance Company f/k/a Transamerica Premier Insurance Company, No. 16-cv-00655, S.D. N.Y.).
