Judge: Company’s Pipeline On Landowner’s Property Did Not Breach Fracking Deal
(May 6, 2016, 1:49 PM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — A federal judge in Pennsylvania on May 5 dismissed a lawsuit brought by a lease holder against a fracking company, ruling that the company did not breach the agreement between the parties when it constructed a pipeline on the premises in question because it had the right to do so based on the contract the landowner signed (Camp Ne’er Too Late LP v. SWEPI LP, No. 14-01715, M.D. Pa.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 59657).
