IKO Says Plaintiffs’ Warranty Claims Over Roofing Shingles Are Untimely

(May 5, 2016, 11:02 AM EDT) -- URBANA, Ill. — IKO Manufacturing Inc. says in an April 25 motion for summary judgment filed in Illinois federal court that plaintiffs’ claims that the manufacturer breached the warranty on its roofing shingles are untimely and that the plaintiffs never saw the manufacturer’s statement regarding the shingles’ conformity with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standard D225 (In re: IKO Roofing Shingles Products Liability Litigation, MDL 2104, Case No. 09-md-2104, C.D. Ill.).
