DOI Restores Tribe’s Reservation In California For Planned Casino

Mealey's (May 4, 2016, 2:57 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Department of the Interior (DOI) on April 29 announced approval of a California Indian tribe’s application to take 62 acres in trust to construct a casino under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act’s restored lands exception.
