Woman: Chinese Drywall MDL Judge Erred In Finding Remediation Complete
(May 4, 2016, 8:22 AM EDT) -- NEW ORLEANS — A Louisiana woman on April 14 moved for a new trial, arguing that the judge overseeing the multidistrict litigation for allegedly defective Chinese-manufactured drywall erred when he granted Knauf Plasterboard (Tianjin) Co. Ltd.’s motion to extinguish further settlement obligations based upon a claim that remediation of her home had been completed (In re: Chinese-Manufactured Drywall Products Liability Litigation, MDL 2047, E.D. La.).
