(May 3, 2016, 3:22 PM EDT) -- PASADENA, Calif. — A former employee of a weight loss company who alleges that she was forced to miss meal breaks and denied wage premiums failed to show commonality, the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled April 20, affirming a trial court’s denial of the worker’s class certification motion (Nashonna Coleman v. Jenny Craig, Inc., No. 14-55821, 9th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 7164).
