Federal Judge Grants Summary Judgment In Slip-And-Fall Suit

(May 2, 2016, 2:27 PM EDT) -- DALLAS — After a federal judge in Texas on April 25 granted summary judgment in a slip-and-fall case brought by a store employee because the employee failed to show that he would not have fallen if the store provided him with a certain kind of spill cleaner, the former employee notified the court that he will appeal its decision (Randy J. Austin v. Kroger Texas L.P., No 3:11-CV-1169-B, N.D. Texas; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 54625).
