Supreme Court Denies IFA Petition To Review Seattle Wage Law Ruling

(May 2, 2016, 1:42 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Supreme Court on May 2 denied the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) petition for writ of certiorari asking the high court to hear its appeal of a Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruling tossing out its challenge to part of the City of Seattle’s law to increase the minimum wage to $15 (International Franchise Association, et al. v. City of Seattle, et al., No. 15-958, U.S. Sup.; 2016 U.S. LEXIS 3040).
