California Water District, 3 Cities Settle Groundwater Assessment Case For $9.1M

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 12:51 PM EDT) -- LOS ANGELES — The Water Replenishment District (WRD) of Southern California on May 1 agreed to pay $9.1 million to three cities that challenged water replenishment assessments by the district for a period of six years (City of Cerritos, et al. v. Water Replenishment District of Southern California, No. BS128136, Calif. Super., Los Angeles Co.).
