Montana, Wyoming Still Divided On Next Step In Water Dispute

(April 27, 2016, 2:58 PM EDT) -- STANFORD, Calif. — Although the U.S. Supreme Court has adopted a special master’s report that Wyoming is liable to Montana for only two years of overdrafting water from the Tongue River, the two sides on April 25 told the special master they disagree about the remedy phase of the litigation (State of Montana v. State of Wyoming, et al., No. 137, Original, U.S. Sup.).
