Judge Who Drank Water In Flint, Mich., Recuses Himself From Contamination Lawsuit

(April 27, 2016, 1:14 PM EDT) -- DETROIT — The federal judge presiding over one of the lawsuits filed by Flint residents seeking injunctive relief in connection with the lead-contaminated drinking water in Flint on April 26 disqualified himself from the case and ordered the case reassigned by blind draw to another judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Concerned Pastors for Social Action, et al. v. Nick A. Khouri, et al., No. 16-10277, E.D. Mich.).
