Judge Grants Default Judgment To Insurer

Mealey's (April 26, 2016, 11:41 AM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A New York federal judge on April 22 granted a default judgment to an insurer against its insured and various parties involved in a construction defects lawsuit regarding its duty to defend and indemnify the underlying lawsuit (Atlantic Casualty Insurance Co. v. Rentom Corp., et al., No. 14-8685, S.D. N.Y.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 54642).
