Google Seeks Rehearing From 5th Circuit In Mississippi AG Suit

Mealey's (April 26, 2016, 9:54 AM EDT) -- NEW ORLEANS — Two weeks after a Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel vacated an injunction granted to Google Inc. against an investigation headed up by Mississippi Attorney General (AG) Jim Hood, Google filed a petition for panel rehearing on April 23, taking issue with the panel’s accompanying dismissal of its entire declaratory judgment complaint against the AG (Google Inc. v. James M. Hood III, No. 15-60205, 5th Cir.).
