Legislators: Pennsylvania Governor’s Gas Extraction Tax Would Raise $1 Billion

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 11:37 AM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — Leaders of the Democratic Party in Pennsylvania on June 2 issued a press release calling on state Republicans to take action on an education investment plan proposed by the governor that would raise $1 billion through a natural gas extraction tax levied on hydraulic fracturing companies.
