Tribe Gets Chance To Amend Embezzlement Suit Against Former Executives
Mealey's (April 22, 2016, 10:58 AM EDT) -- SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Negligence, breach of contract and aiding and abetting claims of a California Indian tribe alleging that several former tribal executives and other parties embezzled millions of dollars from the tribe were dismissed April 20 by a federal judge, who then granted the tribe leave to amend several of the claims (Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, et al. v. Ines Crosby, et al., No. 2:15-cv-00538, E.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 53145).
