Fracking Company: Residents Should Not Be Allowed To Amend Complaint

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 11:32 AM EDT) -- CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The hydraulic fracturing company sued by a landowner couple in an oil and gas royalty lease dispute on May 11 filed a brief contending that the plaintiffs should not be permitted to amend their original complaint and add parties because there is already a class action asserting the same claims pending in the same West Virginia federal court (Larry Barr, et al. v. EQT Production Company, No. 14-57, N.D. W.Va.).
