(April 20, 2016, 1:36 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A trial judge did not err in excluding an expert from testifying in a patent infringement lawsuit about personal flotation devices because he had no experience on the subject, the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled April 19 (Sport Dimension, Inc. v. The Coleman Company, Inc., No. 15-1553, Fed. Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 6992).
