Erectile Dysfunction Drugs Tied To Sudden Hearing Loss, Report Says

(April 20, 2016, 8:58 AM EDT) -- HORSHAM, Pa. — An April 6 review of adverse event reports filed with the Food and Drug Administration by the Institute for Safe Medication Practices confirmed an association between sudden hearing loss and erectile dysfunction drugs such as Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.

The drugs are part of a class known as phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors.
