Judge Asks Pittsburgh To Respond To ACA False Claims Act Amendments

(April 19, 2016, 1:13 PM EDT) -- PITTSBURGH — A federal judge on April 12 asked the City of Pittsburgh and its former mayor to respond to a motion challenging his ruling applying post-Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) changes to the False Claims Act (FCA) public disclosure standard (The United States, ex rel. v. The City of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Luke Ravenstahl, No. 12-1600, W.D. Pa.).
