Mealey's (April 19, 2016, 10:20 AM EDT) -- JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Philip Morris USA Inc. asked a federal judge on April 13 to stay his ruling on a plaintiff’s request to reinstate the jury’s punitive damages until the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals rules on a similar tobacco suit appeal because the ruling in that case may make the plaintiff’s motion moot (Judith Berger v. R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., et al., No. 3:09-cv-14157, M.D. Fla.)....
