Menominee Tribe Allowed To Intervene In Dispute Over Gaming Compact

Mealey's (April 15, 2016, 11:59 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A federal judge on April 14 permitted the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin to intervene in an action filed by another tribe that operates a casino in Wisconsin seeking to overturn the denial of a gaming compact amendment that would guarantee compensation to the tribe for any lost revenue caused by the opening of a Menominee Tribe casino (Forest County Potawatomi Community v. United States, et al., No. 15-105, D. D.C.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 50190).
