Fracking Company Supplier: Explosion Caused By Defective Products From Third Party

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 11:04 AM EDT) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — A company that manufactures lithium batteries for use by hydraulic fracturing companies on April 29 filed a third-party complaint against the company that supplied materials that were used in a battery that exploded and exposed two fracking workers to hazardous chemicals. The manufacturer argues that the parts supplier gave it defective products, which were used to make the battery in question (Jacob McGehee, et al. v.
