Mentor Pelvic Mesh Claim Was Triggered By Injury, Not Ad, ObTape MDL Judge Says
(April 14, 2016, 1:42 PM EDT) -- COLUMBUS, Ga. — The Georgia federal judge presiding over the Mentor ObTape multidistrict litigation on April 13 granted summary judgment in one of the 342 pending pelvic mesh cases, ruling that the plaintiff missed the applicable two-year statute of limitations (In Re: Mentor ObTape Transobturator Sling Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 2004, No 08-md-2004, Lynne Roy, et al. v. Mentor Corp., No. 13-125, M.D. Ga., Columbus Div.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 49306).
