Class Of Nissan Owners Certified In Suit Alleging Defective Timing Chain

(April 12, 2016, 6:40 PM EDT) -- LOS ANGELES — A California federal judge on April 5 granted a motion for certification filed by a class of Nissan owners who allege that certain models have defectively designed timing chain tensioning systems (TCTSs) (Kobe Falco, et al. v. Nissan North America Inc., et al., No. 13-686, C.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 46115).
