Injunction Denied In Intellectual Property Dispute Between Restaurant, Brewery

Mealey's (April 12, 2016, 1:09 PM EDT) -- COLUMBUS, Ohio — A plaintiff’s request for preliminary injunctive relief barring a restaurant from operating under the “Columbus Brewing Company” trademark was denied April 6 by an Ohio federal judge on grounds of acquiescence and irreparable harm (District Brewing Company Inc. v. CBC Restaurant LLC, No. 15-3114, S.D. Ohio; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 46539).
