8th Circuit Finds No Error With Jury Verdict Entered In Insured’s Favor
Mealey's (April 12, 2016, 11:58 AM EDT) -- ST. LOUIS — A jury verdict entered in an insured’s favor in a suit arising out of the insured’s purchase of raw beef tainted with E. coli was not in error, the Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals said April 5 after determining that the verdict was not compromised (American Home Assurance Co., et al. v. Greater Omaha Packing Co. Inc., et al., No. 15-1313, 8th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 6183).
