Mealey's (April 11, 2016, 2:49 PM EDT) -- LOS ANGELES — An asbestos defendant lacked any reasonable basis other than “litigation strategy” for removing a case during trial, a federal judge in California held April 7 in remanding and awarding fees (Louis Tyler, et al. v. American Optical Corp., et al., No. 16-2337, C.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 47370).
