Fracking Company: Resident’s Tainted Water Claim Fails

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 10:48 AM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — A hydraulic fracturing company that is a defendant in a permit dispute between a landowner and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on April 24 filed a brief with the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board (EHB), arguing that the landowner who contends that fracking operations tainted his water “omits copious evidence contradicting his assertions” (Loren Kiskadden v. Department of Environmental Protection and Range Resources - Appalachia LLC, No. 2011-149-R, Pa. EHB).
