Insured Asks 6th Circuit To Order New Trial In Disability Benefits Dispute

(April 11, 2016, 8:29 AM EDT) -- CINCINNATI — A Tennessee man who is seeking disability insurance benefits due to an infection asks the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in a Feb. 23 brief to order the trial court to grant him a new trial as he alleges that several errors cost him the right to a fair proceeding (Greg Jeffers v. Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, et al., No. 15-5915, 6th Cir.).
