9th Circuit Partly Vacates Denial Of Attorney Fees For Health Plan Participant

(April 11, 2016, 7:27 AM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A California federal judge’s decision to deny a request for attorney fees incurred by a health plan participant in her dispute with an insurer was partly vacated March 21 by the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals (Selina Bryant v. CIGNA Healthcare of California Inc., et al., No. 14-55251, 9th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 5146).
