Mealey's (April 7, 2016, 10:06 AM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on March 23 affirmed a judgment entered against a disability claimant because the claimant did not prove that exhausting her administrative remedies would be futile (Theresa Leonard v. MetLife Insurance Co., Nos. 14-55049, 14-55141, 9th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 5429).
