Judge: Couple’s Intervention In Fracking Case Would Prejudice Other Parties

(April 5, 2016, 12:49 PM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania federal judge presiding over a hydraulic fracturing royalty dispute on April 1 denied a couple’s emergency motion to intervene on grounds that to do so at this juncture in the litigation would prejudice other parties (Demchak Partners Limited Partnership v. Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, No. 13-2289, M.D. Pa.).
