Jury Awards $15.8 Million To Farmer Run Over By Utility Vehicle

Mealey's (April 5, 2016, 9:13 AM EDT) -- AUSTIN, Texas — A federal jury in Texas on March 31 awarded a woman who was run over and paralyzed by a utility vehicle more than $15 million after finding that the company that made the utility vehicle allowed the vehicle to be sold with a design defect (Virginia Nester and Robert Scott Nester v. Textron Inc. No. 1:13-CV-00920-RP, W.D. Texas).
