Jury Returns Defense Verdict In 2nd GM Ignition Switch Bellwether Trial

(April 4, 2016, 10:45 AM EDT) -- NEW YORK — The second bellwether trial in the General Motors ignition switch multidistrict litigation on March 30 ended in a verdict in favor of General Motors LLC (In Re: General Motors LLC Ignition Switch Litigation, No. 1:14-md-02543; Lawrence Barthelemy, et al. v. General Motors LLC, No. 1:14-cv-05810, S.D. N.Y.).
